About Big Bagheera
Founded in 2019, the Big Bagheera Foundation has made a remarkable impact in just a few years, transforming countless lives. Our foundation focuses on rescuing abandoned and injured dogs. Many of these dogs have found loving homes, while others have been released back into their familiar streets or found a permanent place in shelters. Every dog we rescue leaves an indelible mark on our hearts.
The Big Bagheera Foundation remains steadfast in its mission, driven by a passion for animal welfare and a vision of a kinder world for all creatures.

Founder Trustee and the driving force behind the foundation, Saakshi embarked on this journey at the tender age of 16, fueled by a vision to create a kinder world for animals. Currently pursuing her Bachelor’s in Veterinary Medicine at The Bristol Veterinary School, UK, Saakshi combines her academic pursuits with her deep commitment to animal welfare, leading initiatives that save and nurture lives.

Trustee and support pillar of Big Bagheera, Poonam brings over 25 years of marketing experience as the founder of QMP Global. Her expertise in branding and marketing is invaluable to the foundation’s outreach and impact. A passionate animal lover, Poonam’s strategic vision ensures the foundation reaches a broader audience, increasing awareness and support for animal welfare.
